DoYouKnowIslam.com We are tired of Islam being exploited and misinterpreted by radicals, Islamophobes, and so called “experts.” Too many times have we seen Islam being associated with violence, terrorism, and a way of life that is seen as barbaric, backwards, and at odds with modernity in the news and print media. We decided to take matters into our own hands by developing our own billboard, magazine, TV, and radio Ad campaigns to present Islam in it’s true light. Love, compassion, mercy, unity, modesty, truth - these are just some of the ingredients that make our faith. This is DoYouKnowIslam.com.

Radio, Television & Documentaries MeccaOne Radio has been broadcasting since May of 2002. We broadcast every Thursday between 5-6pm on 90.5FM KSJS, San Jose, CA and reach 22,000 weekly Muslim and non-Muslim listeners. The KSJS broadcast signal covers seven San Francisco Bay Area counties: Alameda, San Francisco, Marin, Sonoma, Contra Costa, San Mateo, and Santa Clara. This allows listeners tune in to 90.5FM from San Jose to Gilroy, Fremont to Berkeley and from Palo Alto to Oakland. We also broadcast live world-wide over the internet and operate the MeccaOne Radio Podcast via RSS feed and iTunes. Past guests on MeccaOne include Robert Fisk, Imam Suhaib Webb, Zakir Naik, Imam Zaid Shakir, Yusuf Estes, Imran Khan, Dr. Tariq Suwaidan, Maha ElGenaidi, Azhar Usman, Peter Sanders, Ameena Jandali, Dr. Hatem Bazian, Bilal Phillips, and many others. MeccaOne Radio would like to expand it's coverage with more air time and more shows distributed to existing networks around the country. We are currently looking to purchase air-time spots in Sacramento, Chicago, and Virginia. With the help of Allah(swt) we hope to launch a MeccaOne satellite TV program in North America & UK.

Abu Huraira Project MeccaOne records & archives the scholars and teachers who bring clarity to the sometimes difficult and controversial events taking place around the Islamic world and the West. We then make the time sensitive content available for free through articles, audio/video downloads through the internet and press releases. Past events include the Danish cartoon controversy and the recent Pope comments on Islam. Scholars and teachers include: Imam Zaid Shakir, Imam Suhaib Webb, Shaykh Hamza Yusuf, Imam Tahir Anwar, and Usama Canon.
